After graduating from Macomb Community College with an Associates Degree in 1988, Dr. Kotchounian (AKA Dr. Toni) pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She graduated in February, 1992.

Dr. Kotchounian was an associate doctor for one and a half years before opening her own office, Deerfield Chiropractic, in November, 1992. She still maintains her private, referral-based practice. She enjoys having a family practice, taking care of everyone from infants to senior citizens. You'll also find Dr. Kotchounian's husband, Jeff, at the office. As the office manager and Chiropractic Assistant, Jeff performs many valuable services at the office; from scheduling and billing to aiding the patient in selecting the appropriate nutritional supplementation.

She utilizes kinesiology (muscle testing) and Gonstead techniques in determining the cause or causes of the patients' problem(s).
She also utilizes Nutrition Response Testing  (NRT)  This  is a way of analyzing the body’s nutritional needs by muscle testing your organs and then checking why there is aproblem-heavy metal toxicity, chemical toxicity, food allergies, immune challenges and/or scars.
